I went to church on good friday it was a good service, spent time with fam on Easter it was good

I was in Chestnut Ridge Mental Hospital on Easter day. I had no celebration and wasnt off of restriction to go to church. I had cabbage rolls that day . It was a very rough day for me .

Just had a bad enough week to have me committed for four days. It was for homicidal thoughts with a crowbar. I am thankful for the doctors that got my meds straightened out and got me back in normal form.

I was recently diagnosed with Adult Onset Diabetes saw the doc today and being a sub doc she was concerned with my blood pressure so i now have medication for my diabetes and for my blood pressure plus I am to start taking Fish Oil I went from applying 1 perscrip and a multi vitamin to that plus another suppliment and 2 perscrips my goal is to keep this under control so that eventually the doctor lowers the doseage for my diabetes one, please pray for me, if you all happen to think of me, this is a major lifestyle change.

take care Addy my doctor told me I was on the border of having diabetes...he said for me to lose about 10 pounds and cut back on sugar... I did that and he said it was much better..

The pills or the shots Addy? If you gotta pin it we can likely get you well enough we can get you onto the pills. If it's the pills? Hell, we can get it so you can decrease or even eliminate the pills. Like I said in PM, it's all about situating ones diet program. Same way the blood pressure bro, some daily exercise with a good diet and we'll knock that right outa ya no problem. Yeah you'll still have to make some lifestyle changes BUT you won't be forced to swallow down handfuls of pharmaceuticals everyday nor have to worry yourself about those issues getting worse.

Its the pills, twice a day and yeah Im making some lifestyle changes and i know itll take some time to see change Im hoping that once i get into a groove and that what not that the blood pressure will go down where i dont need to take it anymore but for vitamins im taking a multi and fish oil I am handling it better emotionally than I was, but I am determined to get it under control and make the changes i need to make

Ricky yeah my doctor told me i Need to excercise which ive been doing, and also told me to cut down on salt but I have to see either a nutritionalist or someone bout diabetes education which will give me a better idea what i can and cannot have. I dont use sugar unless its in Koolaid so now Ill make it with no sugar and just add a packet or two of Splenda to individual glass. Im gonna do 1 splenda in my coffee instead of 2. Trying to eat less and what I do is is good stuff. Like for lunch yesterday I had a salad and it was good hehe. Been using my folks' life cycle the other day I did 22 minutes on it and a distance of almost 6 miles

Walking is great exercise

So far Ive been having some success in lowering my sugar its still on the high side but its under 200

Im doing four painful miles a day but ive dropped five poounds in three days , I dont have diabetes but the doctor said with my size i was a good candidate for it .

Ive dropped 5 pounds in the last week I ride 3-5 miles on a excercise bike every other day and with the change of diet for me I know itll be a matter of time but im determined to stick with it I have no choice.

Diabetes is nothing to mess with, I have a family history of it but so far It's been relatively easy and i think its cuz my attitude towards diet and stuff has changed.
